Outdoor Scavenger Hunt
Create a list of things that the children are supposed to search for in their backyard or a nearby park. Let them search natural objects like leaves, flowers, and rocks or something that is based on the theme.
It can be a DIY splash pad in your yard in the hot summer day by using sprinklers, water balloons or a kiddie pool. Water games are not only cool but also give a chance of having a time of fun and entertainment.

Nature Walks & Picnics
Take your children for a walk around the nearby park or nature reserve and let them explore it. Encourage them to appreciate the plants, the insects and the wildlife; let them have a picnic at the park.
Cooking & Baking Adventures
Have kids involved in the kitchen work as much as possible by letting them do simple cooking and baking tasks. It could be making your own pizza, or designing the cookies, or making fruit kebabs.
DIY Arts and Crafts
Prepare an art corner with items such as paper in different colors, markers, glue, scissors and stickers. With this kids can be motivated to actualise their imagination in various ways.
Outdoor Movie Night
Build a home-made backyard movie theatre with a sheet or a portable projector screen. Let children select their favorite movies, and then you can make some popcorn and do the same as you would do in a cinema.
