DIY Holi Colors: Skin-Friendly & Easy to Make!

Mix turmeric powder with gram flour (besan) or cornflour to get a bright yellow colour. It’s gentle on the skin and even has antibacterial properties!

Vibrant Yellow.

Grind dried hibiscus petals or beetroot powder for a beautiful red hue. You can also mix it with rice flour to make a dry powder.

Radiant Red

For a natural green, use henna powder (without chemicals) or dry and grind spinach leaves. Both are skin-friendly and give a fresh, earthy colour.

Soothing Green

Crush dried marigold flowers and mix them with sandalwood powder to get a stunning orange shade with a pleasant fragrance.

Bright Orange

Sun-dry jacaranda or butterfly pea flowers and grind them into a fine powder for a soft blue shade. These flowers are commonly used in herbal teas.

Deep Blue

Dry and grind jamun peels for a deep purple colour or boil beetroot slices in water for a rich liquid dye. Let it cool before use.
