While surfing Internet today, I came across the hot topic of week, World Water day and that redirected me to a page where I read those facts which left me in state of shock.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"  wp-image-3321 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.getdistributors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/watercopy2-514x360.jpg\" alt=\"watercopy2\" width=\"537\" height=\"377\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.getdistributors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/watercopy2-514x360.jpg 514w, https:\/\/blog.getdistributors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/watercopy2-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.getdistributors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/watercopy2.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 537px) 100vw, 537px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here those are-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Almost 800 million people lack access to clean safe water every day<\/li>\n<li>Almost 3 \u00bd million people die every year because of water and sanitation and hygiene-related causes<\/li>\n<li>Every 21 seconds, another child dies from a water-related illness<\/li>\n<li>More than 1 billion people still practice open defecation every day<\/li>\n<li>The water crisis is the #1 global risk based on impact to society (as a measure of devastation), and the #8 global risk based on likelihood (likelihood of occurring within 10 years) as announced by the World Economic Forum, January 2015.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Never before, I became that conscious about things like saving water, environment and alike. But from the moment only today, I made a commitment to stop wastage of water and alert people on this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Folks, by bringing minor changes in our daily life, we can see many litres. Let us take the pledge to save water.
