It has a large number of seats and this is the reason why many political parties always fight tooth and nail to win the UP election and in the year 2022, nothing has changed. On 8th\u00a0<span id=\"OBJ_PREFIX_DWT1520_com_zimbra_date\" class=\"Object\">January 2022<\/span>, the election commission announced the election schedule of this state. From 10th February to 7th\u00a0<span id=\"OBJ_PREFIX_DWT1521_com_zimbra_date\" class=\"Object\">March 2022<\/span>, legislative assembly elections are being held in Uttar Pradesh. To elect members for 403 seats, these elections will be in seven phases .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Participants:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Now let\u2019s talk about various participants and their allies who will compete with each other. Here is the list:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">National Democratic Alliance (NDA)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">In the 2017 election, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with the whole NDA has won and Yogi Aditya Nath has become the new CM. This year, BJP has formed an alliance with Apna Dal (Sonelal) and NISHAD Party and thus, including them in NDA. BJP alone will contest for 370 seats and the remaining ones will be covered by Apna Dal (17 seats) and NISHAD Party (16 seats).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Samajwadi Party + Alliance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Led by Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party is going to contest for 343 seats. Instead of allying with national parties, this party is going is form an alliance with many regional parties. These parties include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Rashtriya Lok Dal (33 seats)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (17 seats)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) (4 seats)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Mahan Dal (2 seats)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohiya) (1 seat)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Janvadi Party (Socialist) (1 seat)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Nationalist Congress Party (1 seat)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">BSP under Mayawati has decided to fight the election all by itself and due to this, it is contesting for 403 seats. But still, many small parties have extended their support to BSP which in return accepted it. These parties are:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0India Janshakti Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Pacchasi Parivartan Samaj Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Vishwa Shanti Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sanyukt Janadesh Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Adarsh Sangram Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Akhand Vikas Bharat Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sarvajan Awaz Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Jagruk Janata Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sarvajan Sewa Party<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">United Progressive Alliance (UPA)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Out of all UPA, only INC (Indian National Congress) is going to compete in this election and will fight for 400 seats all by itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Bhagidari Parivartan Morcha<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">This alliance includes All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Jan Adhikar Party, Bharat Mukti Morcha, Janata Kranti Party, Bharatiya Vanchit Samaj Party, Peace Party of India, and Rashtriya Ulama Council. Out of which All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen is contesting for 100 seats and for others the number of seats contested has not been disclosed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Left Front<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">This alliance consists of the Communist Party of India (38 seats), Communist Party of India (Marxist\u2013Leninist) (13 seats), Communist Party of India (Marxist) (4 seats), and All India Forward Bloc (seats contested have not been disclosed).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other than these mentioned participants, many parties haven\u2019t any alliance but will compete in this election. These parties are AAP (403 seats), Shiv Sena (initially 403 seats but now 50-100 seats). Other parties like VIP, LJP(Ram Vilas faction), RRP, ABHM, and ASP have also announced their participation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Strategies for campaigning:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Political leaders are using numerous methods like advertisements, banners, and even social media. Except for BSP, many parties have also released manifestoes that are a primary tool for political leaders to get voters on their side.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Conclusion:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">This 2022 Legislative Assembly election has been quite exciting. The result of this election will be declared on 10th March in the same year.
