Digital Signature:- Digital Certificates serve as an identity of an individual for a certain purpose, e.g. a driving license identifies someone who can legally drive in a particular country. Likewise, a Digital Certificate can be presented electronically to prove your identity or your right to access information or services on the Internet. Digital Certificates are the digital equivalents (i.e. electronic format) of physical or paper Certificates like your driving license, passport or membership cards. File-Signer Pi:- File-Signer Pi is a desktop product designed to attach digital signatures to PDF documents. The digital signature appears in-line with the PDF document making it possible to verify the signatures without using any third party verification utility. Acrobat Reader can be used to verify the signed PDF documents. The recipient of the digitally signed PDF document can easily read the document while checking the Integrity, Authenticity and Non-Repudiation aspects, using just the Acrobat Reader. File-Signer Pi supports bulk signing of PDF documents available in a configured input directory and the signed PDF documents are placed in the configured output directory. Some of the key features of File-Signer Pi are: 1. This software tool performs bulk signing of PDF files placed in a configured folder. Any number of PDF files can be signed in one go. 2. The Signature (DSC) in in-line with the PDF document. 3. The Signature can be viewed and verified by the recipient of the document using Acrobat Reader. No 3rd party software required for verification. 4. It can support multiple signatures in the single document. 5. Option available to insert a small image along with the DSC – Name or Designation of Signatory / Logo of company, scanned copy of Signature, etc. 6. All PDF files to be signed to be placed in an IO folder. The Software applies Signature to each document and moves to OP folder. A log file is also created for success / errors. 7. Option to specify location where Signature should appear on the page. 8. Option to select whether DSC to be applied on 1st page or last page, or any specified pages. 9. Easy to configure and use.
