Arguably one of the most versatile hydrocarbons, Kerosene oil is ideal for a range of applications in households, sectors such as petrochemicals, entertainment, glass cutting etc. Its estimated that over half a billion households worldwide completely depend on kerosene for meeting their cooking and lighting requirements every day, with a large portion of the aforementioned number being in India. Unfortunately, the main source of kerosene for people in India is the public distribution system ( PDS) which is plagued by rampant corruption, malpractices such as diverting the oil for black marketing to profit from industrial and commercial shortages later etc.

With a vision to provide sufficient kerosene oil to aid in fulfilling India's huge energy demand, IFP Petro Products Pvt. Ltd. has created an infrastructure for filling, storage, testing and dispatch of kerosene oil, in compliance with government regulations. The permission for packaging and marketing of non PDS kerosene oil under the brand name SKO in 1/5/10/210 liter packs has been granted by the ministry of petroleum, with IFP's facilities being approved by a committee of oil marketing companies consisting of IOCl, HPCL and BPCL.

IFP Petro Products Pvt. Ltd. has formulated and developed the SpotX & HeatX series of kerosene oil and derivatives for industrial and commercial usage. The organization requires country wise, city specific and state specific retailers and industrial distributors across India to aid it in its expansion plans.
