Melcan Food Ventures Pvt Ltd., is an ice cream manufacturing company based out of Chennai. It is popularly known by its brand name, Milkyway. Milkyway has been in the ice cream industry since 1994. MFVPL manufactures and has supplied ice creams and frozen desserts to over 2000+ Hotels, restaurants, caterers in Chennai. Milkyway has presence in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andaman. They have over 37+ ice cream parlours in these states and serve ice creams to over 50 lakh people year on year.

The company has a 15000 sqft. manufacturing facility in Chennai. It uses international ingredients and premium flavours to manufacture top of the line ice creams and frozen desserts. To ensure that the distributors and customers get their products available all the time they have set up a 16000 cubic ft cold room in their own premises. 

MFVPL has over 40 flavours of ice creams and frozen desserts and have over 140 SKUs to choose from. They also manufacture over 20 varieties of international premium flavours which are unique and premium. Recently they have launched all natural Kulfi in Sitaphal, Guava, mix fruit, roasted Almond and pan flavours. 

The company is looking to partner with like minded distributors who are looking to expand their businesses using these premium and novel flavours.
