Masala Dosa
A traditional and well-known type, stuffed with a spicy mashed potato stuffing. It is usually served with chutney and sambar.
Plain Dosa
The plain version of dosa which is a thin and crispy pancake prepared from fermented rice and urad dal batter. It is accompanied with chutney and sambar.
This dosa is prepared from semolina (rava), rice flour and all purpose flour and is famous for its crispy and lacy appearance. It is usually accompanied with the flavor of cumin seeds, green chili and ginger.
Rava Dosa
Mysore Masala Dosa
It is similar to the preparation of masala dosa but instead of the green chutney being spread on the inner side of the dosa before the potatoes, a spicy red chutney is used.
Paper Dosa
A very thin and crispy variant of dosa which is bigger in size and is usually made in the form of a cone or sometimes served flat. It is very tender and has a crunchy feel to it.
Onion Dosa
A simple dosa made from the batter with added finely chopped onions, green chilies, and coriander leaves. It gives a nice texture and taste to the dosa.
