Chemical Fertilizer

Fertilizers that are artificial and contain nutrients. They provide fast results but can cause problems to the soil and the environment if applied frequently.

Organic Fertilizer

Organic fertilizers are obtained from natural products. They help to build up the soil structure and release nutrients slowly, thus increasing the soil’s fertility in the long run.

Fertilizers that are used in the form of solutions and are either sprayed on the plants or the soil. They provide fast nutrient absorption and can be applied through foliar spray or soil soak.

Liquid Fertilizer

Granular Fertilizer

Granular slow-release fertilizers that are applied on the soil surface. They dissolve slowly, thus releasing nutrients in a slow manner to the plants.

Slow-Release Fertilizer

Designed to slowly deliver nutrients into the bloodstream over a period of time. They decrease the number of applications and prevent nutrient leaching.

Foliar Fertilizer

Used on the foliage of the plant rather than on the soil. They are fast sources of nutrients and are effective in cases of nutrient replenishment.
