Use Warmer Milk
A traditional Punjabi dish that wins over our hearts every winter is Makke Di Roti and Sarson Ka Saag. Serve with lots of butter on top.
Use fresh, active curd as your starter Add 1-2 tablespoons of curd to the warm milk and mix well. This helps the starter spread evenly
Add Starter
After mixing the starter pour the milk into a casserole. The insulated container retains heat, encouraging bacterial growth
Use Casserole
Cosy Place
Place the container in a warm spot like a turned-off microwave. You can also wrap it in a thick cloth before placing it inside.
Be Patient
Let the curd set for 8-10 hours. Avoid disturbing it during this time and you'll have fresh, homemade curd with ease
